Natural camphor, also known as right-handed camphor (D-camphor), is a white crystalline product extracted from the branches, stems and roots of the Lauraceae plant camphor after volatilization through steam distillation and fractionation.
D-Camphor is also widely used in medicine, chemical industry and defense industry, and is an indispensable and important commodity in the international market.
Camphor is extracted from the trunk of camphor trees. The older the camphor tree, the more camphor it contains. The extraction method is to cut the trunk into small pieces and distill it with water.
