Ferric Sodium EDTA (NaFeEDTA) is a highly stable, slow-release chelating iron agent widely used in food fortification, agricultural fertilizers, animal feed, and industrial water treatment. Because its iron is strongly chelated by EDTA, it is less susceptible to oxidation or precipitation by environmental factors, resulting in more efficient absorption and greater stability.
As a highly bioavailable iron additive, Ferric Sodium EDTA is one of the most effective sources of chelated iron on the market and is widely used in iron-fortified foods, plant iron fertilizers, water-soluble fertilizers, nutrient solutions, and trace element additive systems.
1. Food Fortification (Food Grade NaFeEDTA): Used in food formulations fortifying iron. Applied to soy sauce, cereal products, condiments, and nutritional beverages. Higher absorption rate and stronger stability than common iron salts such as ferrous sulfate.
2. Agricultural Fertilizer (Agricultural Iron Chelate): Used as **chelated iron (EDTA Fe)** in water-soluble fertilizers and foliar fertilizers. Promotes plant photosynthesis and improves chlorosis. Exhibits excellent stability in neutral and slightly alkaline soils.
3. Animal Feed (Feed Additive Iron): Used for iron supplementation and improving feed nutrient absorption efficiency. High bioavailability and resistant to oxidation.
4. Industrial Applications: Water treatment chelating agent; metal surface treatment additive; textile printing and dyeing auxiliary agent.
