Nonivamide Uses: 

Capsaicin can be used to synthesize capsaicin analogues with similar biological activities, used as a rodent repellent, in rodent-proof cable materials, and as a rodent-proof additive for cable plastic sheaths to prevent animals from chewing and cutting. It can be used in the cable and optical cable industries. Biofouling agents: It is already used in marine antifouling coatings, applied to parts of ships and offshore structures that come into contact with seawater to prevent the attachment of algae, shellfish, mollusks, and other marine organisms, thus preventing the accumulation of aquatic organisms on the hull and replacing organotin antifouling coatings. In the pharmaceutical field: It can be used for non-addictive analgesia, inhibiting bacteria and fungi, and promoting blood circulation; it can be made into liniments, tinctures, creams, patches, etc. Repellents: Utilizing the strong lacrimative and sneezing effects of synthetically produced capsaicin, it is used to manufacture tear gas and other repellent devices, as well as personal defense products.
