      Production method

      ●  β-picoline is oxidized into nicotinic acid by air, which is obtained by reacting with ammonium hydroxide and then heating and dehydrating.

      ●  Put nicotinic acid, boric acid and ammonia water into the reaction pot, feed ammonia gas under stirring, heat up and dissolve; then distill and recover ammonia, transfer it to a dehydration pot to continue to concentrate after reaching 120°C; start adding liquid ammonia when the temperature reaches 145°C, and Continue the ammonia reaction at 185-190°C for 20-30 hours. Then lower the temperature to 130°C, dilute with distilled water, add activated carbon, and decolorize with ammonia at 70-80°C for 2 hours; after the reaction, filter while it is hot, and cool the filtrate in water for 24 hours, separate and crystallize, wash with ethanol, and dry to obtain the finished product. Yield 89%.
