Introduction

Gentamicin sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic, which is a glycoside formed by aminocyclohexyl polyol and amino sugar. There are five basic centers in the gentamicin molecule, which is a basic compound, and the drug is the sulfate of gentamicin. Gentamicin is a complex of C components, the main components of which are C1, C2, C1a and C2a.

●  Gentamicin binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit to cause codon misreading and blocks the transfer of peptidyl-tRNA from the acceptor site to the donor site. The bactericidal effect of gentamicin on Pseudomonas depends on binding to the outer membrane part of the cell membrane, displacing the existing cations, making the membrane unstable and forming cavities on the cell surface. Antimicrobial Spectrum: Gram-negative bacteria, Staphylococci and other Gram-positive bacteria.
