Use

●  This product is used for whitening treatment of polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, ABS resin, polyolefin and polyester, and also used for whitening acetate fiber, polymethyl methacrylate, and foam artificial leather. Also used in varnishes, paints, UV-curable coatings, printing inks, fats, oils, packaging materials. It can be used as anti-counterfeiting mark when applied in printing ink. In photography, it can be used to improve the whiteness of the non-image area of the photo, and the photo can be converted into fluorescence when exposed to ultraviolet light. Produces a brightening and brightening effect.

●  Mainly used for whitening of PVC, PSChemicalbook, PE, PP, ABS and other plastics and acetate fibers, paints, coatings, inks, etc.

Production method

120kg of chlorobenzene was put into the reactor, and 21kg of o-amino-p-tert-butylphenol was added. 19 kg of chloromethyliminoethyl ether hydrochloride was slowly added dropwise with stirring at room temperature. After dripping, the temperature was raised and refluxed. The reaction is carried out for 3 to 4 hours. Chloroform was recovered. About 24 kg of brown oil were obtained. Add 200kg of water to the vulcanization kettle, then add 45kg of sodium disulfide and 0.5kg of PTC (as a phase transfer catalyst). The material was acidified with 1:2 dilute hydrochloric acid to pH 5-6, methanol was evaporated under reduced pressure, cooled and filtered, the filter cake was washed with water until neutral, and dried. Recrystallize with ethyl acetate to obtain fluorescent whitening agent OB.
