Oleylamine is a surfactant that is soluble in general organic solvents such as acetone, carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, kerosene, methanol, toluene and white mineral oil, but insoluble in water [1.1] and can irritate the skin. , strong eye irritant, liquid in summer and solid in winter, mainly used as emulsifier, dispersant, flotation agent, bactericide, release agent and softener. It can also be used in cosmetics, ceramics, dyes and pigments, lubricating cutting oils, metal processing, mineral processing, petroleum, plastics, inks, rubber, textiles, tanning, water treatment, etc. Oleamine plasticizers have good plasticizing properties and good compatibility, and can be used as cold-resistant plasticizers. Their main disadvantage is poor heat resistance and weather resistance. During storage, care should be taken to avoid contact with strong inorganic acids and strong oxidants.

Oleylamine contains an aliphatic hydrocarbon group and an amine group. Due to the unsaturated nature of aliphatic hydrocarbon groups, oleylamine can undergo addition reactions, oxidation reactions, etc. to form different compounds. At the same time, the presence of amine groups allows oleylamine to act as an alkaline substance and react with acids to form salts.
This product is white powder or flakes. Soluble in various organic solvents such as ethanol and ether. Insoluble in water. The melt has a dark brown color. The relative density is 0.9 and the melting point is 68~79℃. The flash point is 210℃ and the ignition point is 235℃.

This product can be used as a softener and waterproofing agent for chemical fibers. It can also be used as dye, paint dispersant and metal rust inhibitor.

Put 100kg of oleic acid into the reaction kettle, heat to melt, and raise the temperature with stirring. When the material reaches about 180°C, start ammonia gas flow. Ammonia gas enters the feed liquid from the bottom of the reactor through the distributor. Rapid stirring enhances the contact between the gas phase and the liquid phase. The by-product water and ammonia gas from the end melon enter the recovery device through the condenser. When the ammonia input amount is 200kg, detect whether there is water in the discharged gas phase. If there is no water in the gas, it is determined that the reaction has reached the end point.
