Molecular weight: about 101.90 g/mol
Appearance: colorless or white crystalline powder
Density: about 2.12 g/cm³
Solubility: about 6.6 g per 100 g water, slightly soluble in ethanol and ether
Lithium oxalate is a lithium oxalate with excellent chemical stability and structural stability. It is mainly used in the fields of lithium-ion battery pre-negative electrode additives, capacity regulators, chemical analysis reagents, and special pigments/fireworks combustion aids. In recent years, it has attracted much attention in the battery field because it can significantly improve energy efficiency and cycle life as a pre-lithiation additive.
High purity and low impurities: common content is ≥99% or above 99.9%, heavy metals and impurities such as sodium, potassium, and magnesium are strictly controlled
Excellent structural stability: decomposes into lithium carbonate and CO when heated (410–500°C), with good thermal stability
Wikipedia
Controllable particle size: can provide micron-level to ultrafine powders to meet the needs of battery and material processing
Good safety: stable chemical properties, low operating risks, very convenient storage and transportation

Storage | Keep in dry, cool, and sealed conditions |
Packaging | 25 kg/drum or 500 kg/bag (custom packaging available) |
As a new type of battery auxiliary material, lithium oxalate can compensate for the loss of lithium ions during the first charge of the battery, thereby improving the coulombic efficiency and cycle stability. For example, after adding a small amount of Li₂C₂O₄, the first efficiency of the whole battery can be increased from ~88% to >96%
Li₂C₂O₄ can be used as a precursor or additive for electrode materials, especially in LNMO/graphite or Si‑G battery systems, optimizing charge and discharge performance and extending life
Used for laboratory analysis, preparation of standard compounds and organic synthesis intermediates, it can also be used as a color developer in pigments or pyrotechnical red flame fuels.
Packing specifications: 100g/500g/1kg paper bag sample; 25kg/barrel or 500kg ton bag (customizable)
Storage conditions: Place in a dry, cool, ventilated and sealed warehouse to avoid moisture and mixing with acidic substances
Transportation requirements: Safe transportation at room temperature, no dangerous goods transportation certificate required
Although lithium oxalate is a low-toxic compound, it is still irritating to a certain extent. Please pay attention to the following precautions when operating:
Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes
Wear protective gloves, goggles and masks when operating
If it gets into eyes or skin by mistake, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention
Please refer to the product safety data sheet (SDS) for details
