Introduction

Osthole is a substance extracted from the fruit of the annual herb Cnidium of the Umbelliferae, the appearance is yellow-green to white crystalline powder, insoluble in water and cold petroleum ether, easily soluble in acetone, methanol, ethanol, chloroform , chloroform, ethyl acetate, soluble in boiling petroleum ether, with antispasmodic, hypotensive, antiarrhythmic, immune enhancement and broad-spectrum antibacterial effects. Clinically, it is mainly used to treat male impotence, scrotal itching, vaginal itching in women, cold uterus, infertility, rheumatic arthralgia, scabies, eczema, and trichomonas vaginitis.
